Carle is a third generation toy man.
His grandfather and father were in the toy business dating back to the 1940's. Hardly a year goes by that someone at Toy Fair doesn't ask about his grandfather or father.
Carle started out selling men and boys clothes then moved up to assistant store manager and eventually became the toy buyer for a mail order division. This is where his talents flourished. After two years as a toy buyer, responsible for over 10 million dollars in sales, he knew he wanted to be a toy salesman. In 1982 Carle started as a toy sales rep and continued until 1989 when he was ready to start his own rep group, Best Toys.
Carle founded Best Toys with one principle in mind: Service. Service both to his customers and to his manufacturers. Over the years he has never strayed from this fundamental and has surrounded himself with reps and staff dedicated to the same goal.
